Join us on this episode of Comics Talk Comics as Daniel Brown and Norm de Plume discuss their favorite and least-liked super hero films. We go deep as we try to figure out what makes a film either good or unwatchable. It's worth noting that Son of Mask does indeed get brought up and we give it the credit that it deserves. Knowing that this is a list of our favorites we know people are going to find issue with some of our choices. For those of you who want to write in "You got it wrong! The best comic book movie is Monkeybone, and blah blah blah" I want to point out 3 things:

Merry Christmas to everyone! Hopefully everyone enjoyed time with their family, got a little bit fatter, and caught up on their much-needed comic book time. Due to everyone on the podcast *not* living the lifestyle of a serial killer we all had to take the week to spend with our friends and families. Fear not: Comics Talk Comics will be back next week with another new episode. Until then feel free to contact us on twitter at @comstalkcomics or email us at comicstalkcomics@gmail.com. We look forward to a new year with great folks, good drinks, and bad comics!

This week we once again dive into the world of Titan City. Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, Special Guest Matt Moseley, and special guest Sid Kuhn discuss the..."plot." The group also discusses several other things, which include:
Finally, there is a Shawn Stasiak joke in the show. Nobody is going to get it, but we assure you: It's solid. If you enjoy the show then follow us on Twitter at comstalkcomics. Or Email us at: comicstalkcomics@gmail.com

On the front cover of NFL SuperPro #6 the following phrase is proudly displayed: "COMICDOM'S FAVORITE FOOTBALL HERO." We at Comics Talk Comics couldn't agree more. Despite the numerous amount of football-related heroes out there we find ourselves time and time again putting SuperPro above the rest. This week Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley discuss Phil Grayfield's attempt at race relations using "John Wayne's School of Anthropology" (the comic books words, not ours). Oh, and the continuing theme of "people who wear suits and smoke are villains" manages to be fulfilled in both issues by two completely different people. So if you run a business, wear a suit, and smoke cigars then feel free to stop trying to close down the local kid's recreational center for a few hours and join us as comics talk comics.

The holidays put us on a staggered schedule, but we still found a way to get this episode into your hands. This week Daniel Brown and Norm de Plume discuss Holy Terror, which was originally meant to be "Batman vs. Muslims" and eventually became "Batman-without-the-ears vs. Muslims." We ask the hard questions since you don't have to, but just to TLDR our podcast for people who don't want to listen: Do we consider Frank Miller's The Spirit or Holy Terror to be "The floor" of his work? Yes. Is the art better than or worse than WWE Superstars? Yes. Who would win in a fight: David, a super hero with the Star of David on his face, or Jason Bourne? No. Does any of that make sense to you? No? Well, then I guess you're going to have to suffer with us as we get drunk and try to enjoy...Holy Terror!
