Comics Talk Comics (general)
Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley meet weekly to discuss comic books/movies that have been considered poor. Daniel Brown is the comics book expert, Norm de Plume is the veteran, and Special Guest Matt Moseley is padawan. If you like laughing, America, comic books, professional wrestling, Lorenzo Lamas, Christina Hendricks*, or freedom then we are the podcast for you. *We at ComicsTalkComics recognize everyone likes Christina Hendricks so, therefore, you must listen to us.

We are back with another installment of Comics Talk Comics! This week the boys (Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, Matt Moseley) are joined by Courtney Moseley as they discuss the nuances of feminism...

...with the backdrop of more Tarot. We try to get the bottom of the Tarot power set, future political predictions, and creating Rick and Tool (the ultimate terrible fan band). Join us as we discuss the sexiest of comic books!

Hear ye! Hear ye! Tis' the season to argue comics books! Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley come together during Christmas time to discuss a pressing issue: The Top 10 Heroes of All Time. We put ourselves in a room for three hours, made a large pool to choose from, and didn't leave until we reached a consensus.

Who were the winners? Who didn't make the cut? Well, obviously Thor didn't make it. Yes, we all watched Ragnarok and understand it's the best MCU film, but there's years of back continuity that is just weak for the character. No, the podcast does in fact like Chris Hemsworth. The man has comedic timing and good...

...this is basically the podcast. Join us for a very special Comics Talk Comics!

Comics Talk Comics is back with the regular crew discussing the further adventures of Superpr...I mean Ulysses Solomon Archer. We are still fans of (almost) everything this trucker comic presents to us. This week, our hero does battle with Iron Mike Not-Tyson.

Daniel Brown is pretty satisfied with the turn of events. Norm de Plume is about halfway in agreement. Matt Moseley would be more on board if it was a musical.

In the tone of this weeks comic, which is CBR speak -

Comics Talk Comics is back on the road after a brief road stop. The wheels of time keep spinning and this convoy keeps rolling. This week the podcast consists of the following CB handle holders: Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley. They continue talking about all things USA who, due to the events of last issue, is now in a chicken race. That's right: I say, I say, I say a chicken race!

Also, we have a brief interlude of the one time Daniel's Softcore History, Matt learns what makes a chicken a chicken, and the most of the podcast learns about an ancient technology. So tune in and listen up as we bring you the goods! 10-4 good buddy!

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley can't get enough of Ulysses Solomon Archer. This comic book desperately wants us to recognize not all heroes wear capes. Some of them wear tights or trench coats or armor or...

...well, trucker gear. Also, it's worth noting not all villains wear capes either: Some of them dress like a balloon and fly blimps. Don't believe us? I guess it's time to check out some COMICS TALK COMICS!

Feel free to stick around after the credits for some more of our Gretzy 'cast too.

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley are doing more of Marvel's US1. Our hero gets a sidekick named Retread and, for the most part, this issue is a remake of The Rime of the Ancient Mariner...with trucks.

...WITH TRUCKS! ARE YOU READING THIS RIGHT NOW?! Then stop doing so and start listening!

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley have decided to roll on and take on another issue of US1. Ulysses Solomon Archer is on another adventure to battle transportation-based villains. After last issue we didn't think there was anyway they could make it more ridiculous...but a mind controlling whip? Bar fights? A villain defeated using gum, but not in the same way as the villain in Disney's Rocketeer? Sign us up.

We are back with a brand new series on the newest edition of Comics Talk Comics. Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley are tackling the 80's comic known as US #1. This comic book takes us back to our roots. For those who have been with the podcast since the beginning we are excited to check out the adventures of Ulysses Solomon Archer AKA USA as he trucks across America to find his missing brother.

The energy of this comic book hearkens back to the days of Superpro. Using an ridiculous occupation to shoehorn in a superhero? Check. A sense of idiocy form the main character? Check. Marvel openly created the comic to cash in on money offered from a third party investor? Check.*

*Editors Note: It's even in the letters section OF THE COMIC. Check out our Facebook page to read said letter.

If you've been slowly catching up on issues and want to get someone into the podcast then this will be a good jumping off point.

The end of an era. Over two years ago we started the WWE Superstar comic books. Well, this issue is the last one we will ever be able to do, due to the series ending at #12.

And, somehow, it seems like it went on too long. Daniel Brown, Norme de Plume, and Matt Moseley bring an end to the era. We have finally smelled what The Rock was cooking.

Comics Talk Comics is taking a break from the issue format to present something we've talked about since the 2015 era: An interview with a writer from Super Pro. The podcast is on record as rating every issue of Super Pro a "Must buy!"*

*Editor's note: We are aware our scale is dumber than this, but it translates roughly to that phrase.

Joining us is Buzz Dixon: Author of the only issue we loved so much that we turned it into a radio play (Issue 06), is featured in the musical intro of the show (Issue 08), and is featured as the banner on our Twitter (Issue 16, #10). It would be appropriate to call us fans.

Daniel Brown, Norme de Plume, and Matt Moseley are here with Mr. Dixon to talk Super Pro, writing, world-building, and even dive into politics. Also, there are some forms of media mentioned throughout the podcast that are worth looking into:

Welcome back! The podcast is finishing the series DC vs. Marvel, which features very little "vs." in it. In fact, the last issue is a bottle episode and takes place (for the most part) in an alleyway. ACTION! ADVENTURE! ALLEYWAYS!

Host Daniel Brown, Co-Host Norme de Plume, and Co-Co-Cola Host Matt Moseley discuss the final issue and try to figure out how this could have been better. TLDR: A lot could have been done. Also, stick around after the credits for our warm-up banter about exploitation films and Norme's Home Alone adventures.

The studio has lost it's mind because we are doing every fanboy's dream: DC vs. Marvel. Well, that's what we wanted to say, but this comic is a lot less of what your imagination wants and more of shoving two action figures against each other. Host Daniel Brown, Co-host Norm de Plume, and Cocoa host Matt Moseley are here to discuss the massive hero bout that is more akin to a parking lot shoving match.

We haven't uploaded an episode in a while and have decided to do right by releasing a long episode...or, if you're a long-time listener, a "classic" length of our episode.

This episode has all sorts of nerdom, which consists of X-Men, Star Trek, hacking, discussions about cons, etc. It naturally leads to the mother of all debates: Who is the best captain?

If you haven't heard the previous Tarot podcast then you're in luck: We are being introduced to the likes of Licorice Dust and Boo Cat. It's...different. Yea, I think that's the correct word for this comic book.

Also, Kenny, if you're reading this: You are a tiger and don't let anyone tell you differently.

It's been far too long since Comics Talk Comics decided to cover the progressive series that is know as "Superman's Girlfriend." On this particular episode we have Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and special guest Olivia Searcy. She joins the guys to give a woman's perspective on Lois' current adventure, which involves (1) blackmailing a child and (2) committing crime.

Also, the comic book features information about wedding rings (as written by old men) in a 1950's comic book. It is as informative as you would hope it would be.

If you normally download this from the website or from iTunes then I implore you to check out our Facebook page. We normally put up some scans from the comic book and, in this particular case, we published the letters section. It is as progressive as you would hope it would be.

This week Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and special guest (no, really) D.K Vinson get together to talk about the comic book and a lot of other things.

Comics Talk Comics is coming to you and it's fresh off the...press? Hard drive? 1's and 0's?

...well, it's fresh! Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special-ish Guest Matt Moseley are moving along and are going deeper into country. Bruce Wayne (spoiler alert: alter ego of Batman) is generally hailed on many top 10 lists as the best super hero. Some people on the podcast might even agree with that assertion.

However, this is not The Killing Joke, Year One, The Long Halloween, Hush, Black Mirror, etc. No, this is something much more special. We appreciate everyone who keeps following along with us and if you're looking to reach out there are numerous ways to get at us.

A new issue of Comics Talk Comics is ready...kind of?

This week we are coming back to Marvel's 1970's Star Wars comics. Also, it's worth mentioning that we've been sitting on this one for a while because the last half of the podcast went missing. We're sorry. Also, this was one of the first on the new rig, which is now almost a year ago, so we were still working on learning the new mics. Again, sorry. Also, we really didn't get our names or the podcast in the intro because we ended up bullshitting for about an hour before doing the podcast (during the longest sound-check ever), so our names appear over an hour later. So...sorry?

Host Daniel Brown, Co-host Norm de Plume, Special Guest* Matt Moseley, and other guest Jason Switzer meet up to discuss Star Wars #8, which is basically The Seven Star Warsai. Only, since the last half is missing, we end up doing a lot of banter about Star Wars vs. Star Trek after the "bowwww....babowbowbowbowbooowwwww..." part of the podcast.

*Editor's Note: Due to this taking place long before Issue #50 Matt Moseley, in this particular episode, is still Special Guest.

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Super Spook Special Geist Matt Moseley decide to finish exploring the rom-com that is neither romantic or funny. Comics Talk Comics is back with the another look at the Spider Man title, Trouble. Well, it's a Spider Man title without the spider and, based on the ages of the characters, very few men.

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Co-host-special-guest Matt Moseley gather together to discuss the origin story of Peter Parker's conception. Things are really taking off, as we delve further into the history of Uncle Ben, the love triangle taking place between friends, and further development into Richard Parker, father of Spider Man.

Who are we kidding? It's an uncomfortable read with equally-uncomfortable covers.

Never has a comic book title been more appropriate. This week the members of Comics Talk Comics (Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and S.G. Matt Moseley) decide to finally discuss a comic about one of the greatest heroes in comicdom: Spider-Man.

Except this is our podcast, which means our Spider-Man comic book has no Spider-Man, but a lot of inappropriate moments between Peter's family. Set in the 60's/70's/or 00's, Trouble is the origin story of Peter Parker that asks a question that nobody wanted to know: "How was Peter Parker conceived?"

It turns out in the worst way imaginable. Also, we apologize for anyone who ends up following along or seeing the feed: These covers are uncomfortable. Actually, this whole thing is uncomfortable.

Look: We don't really know. What we do know is that we read Ultimate Adventures #1 and have decided to spend this podcast talking about it. Well, mostly about it, but some of the classic rants are there too. Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Guest Master Sexay Matt Moseley (his promoted title is still in the works) get together, drink, and try to get to the bottom of whether or not this comic is ultimate or adventurous.

Issue 50 is still coming along, but we needed to finish this arc. There was a serious debate to start something else before rounding out our journey.

But did the Donner Party give up on their trek? Did Burk and Willis give up on their attempt to explore? Sputnik? Franklin? Absolutely not! So why would we?

At the conclusion of this episode there will be around 9+ hours of audio, between all the episodes, of Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley discussing the series Marville. We aren't bad people. Really, we rag on a lot of the comics in our lists, but there is usually a silver lining that we can genuinely enjoy. 1960's Fantastic Four art. Chuck Norris walking around some docks. Joseph Culp's performance as Dr. Doom in the 1994 Fantastic Four movie. The last page of Billy Ray Cyrus' comic which, as of this writing, graces are Twitter page.

This comic has none of that. To quote Patrick Bateman in American Psycho, who makes a lot of sense in light of this comic:

"There are no more barriers to cross. All I have in common with the uncontrollable and the insane, the vicious and the evil, all the mayhem I have caused and my utter indifference toward it I have now surpassed. My pain is constant and sharp, and I do not hope for a better world for anyone."

Milestones are important. For example, if the human race is still around in 500 years, nobody is going to care who won The Grammy's in 2148. However, people will think "Who won the Grammy for Best Song of the Year for 2000," look up the information, and find that the collaboration between Santana and Rob Thomas produced the winning song, "Smooth." They will hear the song and exclaim "OF COURSE THIS IS TIMELESS!"

Well, we want to adhere to those values at Comics Talk Comics, so we refuse to let an episode of Marville be our Issue 50. We are currently working on that much-more bomb-ass episode, but for now we have...this.\

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley come together to review and discuss Marville #5. We learn more about the secret that Bill Jemas has decided to reveal to the world. I'll leave you with this tidbit from the comic: "Jesus was the first super hero."

That is both something in this comic book and something that needs to be on a t-shirt.

We keep on trucking and refuse to quit: Marville #4 continues to amaze us. The comic book actually decided to swerve us and become a scientific text about evolution, Jesus, dinosaurs, and Wolverine-Namor.

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley (who keeps insisting that this isn't worth it BECAUSE HE'S PROBABLY RIGHT) embark on another adventure into the world created by ex-President of Marvel, Bill Jemas. It's difficult to put into words the thoughts we have about Marville #4, but after much heavy drinking...well, we still don't know.

Also, it's worth noting that we lost the last few minutes of the podcast, but it can be summed up as such: This is a bad comic. Please don't read this. It's like A Serbian Film; I know you're thinking "Naw, man, it can't be that bad."

Trust us, it really is.

Comics Talk Comics wants to take a moment to make a very-special announcement: We're finished. Not as a podcast! We are still going to keep making these things!

But we are finished with our pursuit of the worst comic ever. Let me come to you with my hat in hand here and tell you what the origin of this podcast was: It started with Daniel Brown in a comic book shop telling someone about the Clone Saga. Another guy said "Hey, maybe you should make a podcast about bad comic books?" The idea was to find the worst comic books, read them, and convey our feelings about them to the public. A lot of lists unfairly have NFL Super Pro on them; we at the podcast are hardcore advocates of it being one of the greatest, dumb things to ever exist.

We have also been pleasantly surprised in the past by titles, such as Archie vs. Predator or Eminem and the Punisher. It's been a real pleasure going through comicdom and figuring out what we think (in our humble opinions) is worth your time. Also, we've tried to find the worst things and determine what happened.

Well, we did it: We broke our system. You can listen to this podcast, but I'm going to spoil it in the description: Marville #3 is the worst comic book ever made. That's not just me, Daniel Brown, saying it. Joining me this week is Norm de Plume and Special Guest Matt Moseley. This is the Serbian Film of comic books. Sure, you hear us talking about it and think "It can't be that bad, right?

Nope, it's that bad. I'm going to pull something from Issue 04 of the podcast and apply it here.

"There are bad things. There are bad things in the world. Many bad things. There are some things that are worse than those bad things. But this is the worst thing." - Norm de Plume

Comics Talk Comics is back and we are reviewing Marville #2. Most "Worst Comic Book of All Time" lists say this and NFL SuperPro are the bottom.

We are here to tell you that those lists are LIES. NFL SuperPro is the truth; the 'cast loves it. Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley are all in agreement that this might be the worst comic book ever made. 2/3rds of the podcast had property damage from the recent tornadoes in Pensacola (stay after the theme music for our sound check/storm discussion if you want more of us [for whatever reason]) and we're all in agreement that this comic book was the worst thing to happen during our week.

Please send some encouraging messages to our following streams because this comic book has put Special Guest Matt Moseley on the edge. I believe we make the case during this podcast that it would be a shame to find out that issues of Marville were given to prisoners of Guantanamo Bay.

This episode has been a long time coming. The gang of Comics Talk Comics decided to get together, get drunk, and watch The Star Wars Holiday Special. "Wasn't that a TV comedy show?" I don't know if I would use the word "comedy" to describe it, but it was something...special?

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley delve into our longest episode yet as we discuss many things that exist in this special: Jam dragons, Bea Arthur, the lyrics to the Star Wars theme, Jefferson Starship, THEE wookie fuck helmet, and other things that fit the Star Wars universe.

We will return to our normally-scheduled programming next week as we go back into Marville #2. Normally, we don't mention the next podcast in the notes, but it's so terrible that it's actually bleeding into this description.

This particular episode is a continuation of our live show: It's Comic Talk Comic's live material. We wanted to make sure they were mastered properly because these jokes kind of encapsulate who we are as a team. Daniel Brown is a smart guy who likes dumb things, Norm de Plume is a smart guy who says smart things, and Matt Moseley is a smart guy who likes alcohol.

Once again, we want to thank the thousands (you weren't there, so you can't fact check that) of fans that made it out to watch us perform. We also want to give another shout out to Back Porch Comedy in Pensacola for setting this up for us.

We look forward to doing another one of these in the future.

We finally did it: Through the help of Back Porch Comedy we performed the podcast live in front of an audience. But you weren't there so the only thing on your mind is "Is it still funny?"

Well, we wanted to bring our A game and that means Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane because Clark Draper is the man. In this particular issue, Superman builds a machine that puts people into cryogenic freezing for 5,000 years; Lois Lane and Lana Lang decide to get back at Superman (for all the times he's a dick) by putting themselves into said machine for 5,000 years.

And then hijinks occur, which includes a scene of Superman fighting a dinosaur. It's glorious.

Finally, we would like to thank all the listeners that came out and watched the show. You guys were a terrific and we had a lot of fun talking about kissing booths in front of you all.

We are on issue #45 and it's worth mentioning how close this podcast was to doing the series "Marville" before "NFL Super Pro." If it weren't for the fact that football season was going on during the creation of episode number one we could have easily started with this series first.

Let's just call it a dodged bullet. Marville generally makes critic's top ten lists for "Worst comic book of all time." The podcast has had a lot of experience reading bad comics, but nothing prepared us for this journey. AOL jokes. Ted Turner. Dog farts. Alan Greenspan as a bank manager. Reading this comic book made us believe we were in some kind of shared fever dream.

Join Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Matt Moseley as they take a journey into the strangest god-damned thing we've seen on the podcast.

You people asked for it! Maybe you didn't? I don't know, but the podcast thinks these are amazing. More reviews and commentaries on the wonderful world of 1960's Superman through the eyes of Lois Lane.

To call Superman a rogue does a disservice to the man; he is THEE rogue. This week, chain-smoking, scotch-drinking, ad-making Superman has to deal with the fact that Lois Lane gets kryptonite vision. Is this the end of Slois, which I just came up with and realize is their Bennifer name?

Well, it's that special time of the year: Star Wars Mania. Everyone in the world seems to love the new movie.

We think that's all well and good, but did you know the property of Star Wars has A LOT of dumb things associated with it? This particular episode is about one from the past: Star Wars #48 or, as we at the podcast are calling it, Oceans 11 in Space. Leia Organa needs to get a bank loan for the Rebel Alliance because, sure, why not?

We're back with another issue of Superman's Girlfriend, which we've decided is one of the greatest windows into the soul of Sean Hannity's America. To sum up both of the stories we cover: Lois gets a watch that turns Superman into her pet dog and then we go to a Vincent Price murder mystery.

Intrigued? You should be because, to quote one member of the podcast to the guest this week, "This is my favorite Superman ever...maybe my favorite hero ever."

Yes, those are all real things and, yes, it's incredibly dumb in the way that we like it.

We kick the week after our first movie review the right way: By reviewing the comic book that inspired it. Fantastic Four #1 represents the start to Marvel's long line of super heroes under the Marvel imprint. "Hey, technically, Marvel Comics existed since 1939, but they existed under a different imprint name of Atlas Comics. Fantastic Four represents the first..."

SHUT UP, NERDS!

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, Special Guest Matt Moseley, and Mrs. Special Guest Courtney Moseley join together to talk about the insanity of a 1960's comic book. If you've heard our previous podcasts about Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane then you know what you're in for in this episode of Comics Talk Comics.

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley have decided to LOSE THEMSELVES in the lore of The Punisher and Eminem.

...no, no, no, no, no! We promise! We're funny! Don't exit out of this! Don't close the window! We only make Eminem song references, like, five times in the whole podcast!

In this particular comic we delve into the lore of Punisher Max, talk about the realities of Marshall Mathers against the Punisher, and a plethora of other super hero vs. musician comic books that we want created.

Also, apologies, but one of the podcast members was pre-graming the football game (that was before the podcast), had to be DD'd to the podcast, and occasionally hits the table throughout the podcast while watching the game. You can't really blame them because the Dallas Cowboys aren't doing so hot this year but, I mean, of course.

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley are all back to give the world what it has asked for: Reviews of Archie comic books...

...that involve a teenage Predator. Archie Schwarzenegger doesn't cover himself in mud, but he and his friends go all out as the Predator ramps up his attacks on Riverdale.

It's safe to say this comic book has the largest kill count, ever, in a comic book we've discussed. Who lives? Who dies? Are grapes mixed with feta a real white-people dish or is that something Daniel does because he doesn't know any better? Find out more on this issue of COMICS TALK COMICS!

"Well, that got out of hand quickly."

On the last episode the cast discussed how they enjoyed it being an issue for setting the tone of the Archie world. The writer, Alex de Campi, set up piece after piece so they could all be boom-headshot'd.

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley are excited to get into it as the violence in Riverdale ramps up. Also, the AVP podcasts are cursed, so there is an abrupt switch noted in the middle of the podcast when cards had to be changed.

Stay afterward for a record amount of "bow...bow-bow-wow-ow-ow-owwww" material. Too much of it was too good to go to a cutting room floor.

AVP.

Through a series of events The Predator finds himself mixing it up with the residents of Riverdale. Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley decide to give an Archie book a try and end up with unexpected results!

Editor's Note: We had our recorder go out in the middle of the podcast. We don't mean to show you the magic behind the podcast, but mistakes were made, people were fired, lives were lost, etc. You know how it goes. So note the quick clip in the middle signifies this!

The whole cast shows up, special chase cards and all, to find meaning in WWE Superstars. We'd like to tell you we did and that this was all worth something. We'd like to say the time, effort, and pain sacrificed led to a substantial understanding of ourselves.

We didn't. In fact, one of the cast members references In the Mouth of Madness in reference to the material this week. It is a truly fair comparison.

One good note: This particular podcast might be the start of something big. "Wrestling: The Musical," you ask?! Yea, it just might get done.

We just want to give Super Genius Comics some taglines they can use for WWE Superstars. Feel free to edit these as you see fit.

"WWE Superstars is magnificent...in it's ability to always lower the bar."

"WWE Superstars is unbelievable...as in we can't believe this was made."

"Once again, WWE Superstars never fails to entertain the podcast...because with something this poor you have to make your own fun."

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, Special Guest Matt Moseley, and Ultra Super Rare Hyper Chronophantasma Xeeeerd Guest Sid Kuhn weigh in on the ups (spoilers: there are none) and downs (spoilers: there are a lot) of WWE Superstars #7.

Also, as the producer of the show, I want to go ahead and tell the following people we may say some chioce things about them in the podcast: ICP fans, Tim Tebow, The IP in Biloxi, Bill Cosby, vegetarians, and HHH's acting career.

However, we say a lot of positive things about Inkmaster's Chris Nunez. He's a friend to the show and one cool dude.

*Editor's note: You may also note we don't say any choice things about Hulk Hogan's...colorful views on race. We recorded the podcast and that story broke, literally, the next day. If we had one of those Primer boxes set up then we'd go back in time and let the 'cast know, but we're just not that capable.

"Wrestling is fucking dumb!" - Daniel Brown, Host and Wrestling Fan

But this podcast is not. Well, sometimes it is, but most of the time it's not.

And this is not one of those times. Today, Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, Special Guest Matt Moseley, and Ultra Rare Chase Card Sid Kuhn all get together and try to understand many things about WWE Comics.

We banter. We banter A LOT. If everyone at the podcast suddenly died then whoever went through our archives would find an Emily-Dickinson-level amount of work left on the cutting room floor.

So we're changing it up. Daniel Brown, Special Guest Matt Moseley, and Norm de Plume all love comedy and it would seem appropriate to put this particular amount of banter up because we discuss our love of it in regards to film.

Yes, one of the members of the podcast defends Hudson Hawk because that movie is fucking awesome. However, don't take that as a reason to believe the overall cast doesn't understand comedy.

We're taking a break from all the excitement that is NFL SuperPro for a quick stop in the land of Marvel Zombies. Daniel Brown and Norm de Plume have decided to give a look at Robert Kirkman/Mark Millar's book about the origin story that launched 1000 alternate art covers (seriously, there are a lot of them).

The group ends up on going on a few tangents about character power levels, but we assure you that Comics Talk Comics will never stoop to the level of comparing DBZ Gotenks vs. Superboy Prime because we know Prime would win it under a minute.

Also, Daniel's fanboyism for both Iceman and Powerade products are finally revealed. It isn't pretty.

NFL SuperPro continues to impress the group. We enjoyed the second issue so much that we managed to stay on topic and not run off into too many strange tangents. Though, truth be told, Daniel Brown has to get an argument in that Scar, of Lion King fame, was Disney's first gay villain. "Dude likes dude lions."

He's joined by Norm de Plume and Matt Moseley in another outing. This also marks the first time that all members of the podcast reveal on of the most intimiate details any man could: Their favorite sauce to put on food.

Welcome back to another issue of NFL SuperPro, folks! Comics Talk Comics is about to go into swag overload because the next 3 issues will be about the final days of NFL SuperPro.

After three long podcasts about The Death of Superman it is a refreshing change to see bad comic books done right. We ask the hard questions so you don't have to: Why doesn't Phil Greyfield (AKA SuperPro) play in the NFL? Why would you make a trench coat out of pure silk? Is Marco Sanzionare the greatest 616 villain of all time? What is the appropriate amount of money to put on a Dave and Busters card when visiting a city?

Daniel Brown, Norm de Plume, and Special Guest Matt Moseley go deep into the mythos of DC's flagship character. Before listening to this episode we recommend checking out Issue 12 and 13 first, so as to give context to our dislike of the entire arc.

Though this particular episode is about The Death of Superman it is worth noting that a spiritual battle takes place throughout between Daniel Brown and Matt Moseley on whether or not Million Dollar Baby is a good movie (it is).
